After graduating from İzmir Bornova Anatolian High School in 1994, Dr. Özlem Çakıcı received her medical education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine (2000) and completed her psychiatry specialization training at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry between 2006-2011. After completing her compulsory service at Diyarbakır Education and Research Hospital (2012-2014), she has been continuing her clinical psychiatry studies with Dr. Yankı Yazgan at Güzel Günler Clinic as a freelance physician since April 2014.

Dr. Özlem Çakıcı, whose particular interests include attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (adolescent/adult), tic/Tourette disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders such as social communication disorder, adaptation disorders brought about by the transition to adult life and situations in which personality formation needs to be supported, depression, anxiety disorders and relationship problems caused by the difficulties of adult life, has received training in pharmacotherapy approaches as well as cognitive-behavioral psychotherapies, schema therapy, family-marriage therapies, trauma therapies (such as IRRT, EMDR) and psychodynamic approach therapies.
