Expert Psychological Counselor Neylan Özdemir graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Pedagogy in 1977 and received her master's degree from Boğaziçi University, Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling in 1985. She completed certificate programs in group counseling from La Joya Institute, psychological crisis and intervention techniques and family and couple therapy from "Community Stress Prevention Center" and "Nord International Trauma Consultancy" and continues her family and couple therapy supervisor training.

She worked as a psychological counselor at Robert College between 1979-1981 and 1984-2004. She is the co-founder of BAKIŞ Education and Psychological Counseling Center, which was established in 1997, and she currently works as an instructor, psychological counselor, and family and couples therapist. She has been a consultant and trainer in various projects and programs since 1997.

She has been a part-time faculty member at Boğaziçi University since 2000, teaching "Group Dynamics" and "Crisis Intervention Techniques and Strategies". Also since 2000, as one of the founders of Bakış Education and Psychological Counseling Center, she has contributed to the organization and implementation of family and couple therapy trainings in collaboration with trainers from abroad. She has been an instructor at Bilgi University Family and Couple Therapy Certificate Program. Since 2014, she has been running the Private Bakış Family and Couple Counseling Course affiliated with the Ministry of National Education as the institution representative. She works with couples and families at Güzel Günler Clinic.

He is a member of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Guidance in Higher Education, the International Association of School Psychologists, the American Counseling Association, the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Association, and the European Family Therapies Association (EFTA). He is a founding member of the Association of Couple and Family Therapies (ÇATED).
