After her primary and secondary education, which she started in Ankara and continued in Bursa, she completed her high school education at Bursa Science High School (2004), her medical education at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (2010), and her specialist training at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (2016).

During her specialist training in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Diseases, in addition to taking part in scientific research projects on neurodevelopmental disorders, socially disadvantaged groups, and children drawn to crime, she undertook various duties in collaborations with local governments in order to develop protective and preventive interventions on these issues. Her specialist thesis on repetitive criminal behavior observed in adolescence received TÜBİTAK project support. She completed her compulsory service as a specialist physician in Erzurum and Ağrı (2016-2017). Later, she worked at Marmara University Pendik Training and Research Hospital (2017-2022) and conducted the hospital's activities within the scope of neurodevelopmental disorders. She received the title of associate professor in 2023 and continues her academic activities as a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul Health and Technology University. Neuropsychology, behavioral sciences, psychopathology, communication skills in medicine are some of the courses she has taught in various periods. The Güzel Günler Clinic team and Dr. Together with Yankı Yazgan, she continues her clinical and community-based studies focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders in children and adolescents, improving school climate, and developing mental health literacy.
