Expert Psychologist Sandy Kohen graduated from Koç University, Department of Psychology in 2007. She completed her master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Okan University in 2011.

In 2005, she worked as an intern psychologist at Balıklı Rum Hospital, as a research assistant at Koç University in 2005-2006, and as a therapeutic recreational therapist at Bronx Child Psychiatric Hospital, USA in 2006. She worked as a research assistant with Prof. Dr. Yankı Yazgan between 2007-2008. She worked as the director and psychologist at Woodsview International Preschool between 2008-2009. She has been continuing her clinical work at Güzel Günler Health Services with Prof. Dr. Yankı Yazgan since 2011. In the summer of 2014, she participated in psychoeducational and clinical research, evaluation and implementation studies at Yale University Child Study Center. Since November 2014, she has been working as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Education Unit Specialist at Güzel Günler Clinic, an extension of Güzel Günler Health Services. She continues her psychotherapy work with children, adolescents and young adults on anxiety disorders, mood disorders and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder in both Turkish and English; and individual coaching work with adults on increasing performance and focus in business life.
