GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT

It may be necessary to apply some structured assessments to examine and examine the cognitive, neurocognitive and academic substructures of functional difficulties experienced by children, adolescents and adults. These assessments include structured tests to be applied in addition to information obtained from the family, the individual, the school and other experts.

At Güzel Günler Clinic, we can see the areas that are strong and need support by applying structured tests in areas such as cognitive (attention, learning, memory, executive functions, etc.), reading, writing, mathematics, motor development, language development, social perception and development, and emotional development. These test results, in light of the information received from the family, school, the individual himself/herself and other experts he/she works with, guide us in creating support mechanisms to increase functionality in both academic and other areas of life. We prepare both our applications and reports in accordance with international standards so that individuals who will study at domestic/abroad or international schools can receive the academic/exam support they need and can reach these supports in the places they go.

We conduct the highest standard assessments, including tests based on international norms (such as SAT, ACT, IELTS) and the privileges given according to attention and learning characteristics in academic practices at these schools. In order to ensure the continuity of our services and support during this uncertain period, we have started remote, online neuropsychological assessment applications. Taking into account the guidelines created by test developers and publishers, we have adapted our assessment processes to be suitable for the online system. Following your assessment application and contact with us, our experts will contact you and arrange a pre-interview appointment before the assessment process.

The purpose of the pre-interview is to gain a detailed idea of your (or your child's) needs and the reason for your application and to decide whether the online assessment process is suitable for you. After the pre-interview, the scope of the assessment process and the appointment schedule will be determined.

As the final step in the evaluation process, the expert will conduct a feedback interview with you, where he/she will go over the results in detail. A detailed report will be delivered within 1 month after the feedback interview.
